Last Saturday we had the absolute delight to open up our hearts and our streets as Ball Ground hosted the BBQ and Brews event! Performance Plumbing was proud to sponsor this local event and team up with some of our local businesses including Reformation Brewery and Choate BBQ.
The weather stayed nice most of the day with periodic light showers barely hindering the crowds. There were constant good vibes coming from the stage with a number of bands including the local favorite Whiskey Rose Band. It was a good time for the whole family with face painting, balloon animals, handmade gifts and trinkets and of course, world class barbecue and snacks.
The Performance Plumbing booth was jumping all day as well. We gave away countless solo cup koozies, magnets and swag bags. Our prize wheel was the most popular attraction, and featured Gift Certificates to Ball Ground Businesses including Frankfurt Doner and Meats, Barrell House Coffee Company, Jill’s Cakes and Bakes, and Scooped on Main. We also had toy and candy prizes for kids, pretzels courtesy of Knotty Pretzels and gift certificates for discounts on plumbing service.
As the event was combined with the summer concert series due to inclement weather on the original scheduled day, it wound up going from Noon until 10PM. While it was a long day, we were so glad to have met so many new people from the area and abroad. Being the community plumber for Ball Ground is something we take serious and always appreciate our role in the community.
